Aliénor Display seeks to convey elegance in its purest form. The connection of stems to serifs gives it an original, sophisticated identity whilst its fixed upstrokes create contrasts which grow stronger as the weight increases. In addition, variations in width within the basic alphabet adorn Aliénor with a unique, elegant, and nuanced personality.
This typeface offers alternates which allow texts composed solely of capitals to tumble harmoniously and rhythmically in a range of display settings. Accompanied by numerous ligatures, these additional glyphs can therefore be used to alternate between wide and narrow widths on 11 letters.
