Lapicide Light is a radical serif font inspired by shapes found in stone engravings from ancient Roman times. Taking its name from the French word for Stone Engraver, Lapicide’s inventive serifs mirror the visual effect of engravings in stone to create a truly unique aesthetic.
Lapicide merges sharp, jagged split serifs with looping counters and a strong yet soft presence, whilst its stunning ligatures add a refined touch, making it perfectly suited to to editorial layouts. There’s no doubt this is easily one of the most exciting contemporary serifs out there right now.
